Canvas Presets
Every project has a canvas preset that determines the frame dimensions. Choose at project creation time.
Presets
| Preset | Slug | Width | Height | Use For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Desktop | desktop | 1440px | auto (scroll) | Websites, dashboards, web apps |
| Mobile | mobile | 375px | auto (scroll) | Mobile sites, app screens |
| Tablet | tablet | 768px | auto (scroll) | Tablet layouts |
| 16:9 Landscape | landscape-16-9 | 1920px | 1080px (locked) | Presentations, slides, decks, flyers |
| A4 Portrait | a4-portrait | 794px | 1123px (locked) | Documents, one-pagers, PDFs |
| Freeform | freeform | custom | custom | Any dimensions |
Locked vs. Scrollable
Locked canvases (16:9, A4) have a fixed height. Content must fit within the frame — no scrolling. Think of these as slides or printed pages.
Scrollable canvases (desktop, mobile, tablet) have auto height. Content flows naturally and the viewer scrolls vertically. Think of these as web pages.

Canvas and Exports
The preset affects how designs export:
- PDF: locked canvases render at exact dimensions. Scrollable canvases capture the full page height.
- PNG: screenshots at 2x resolution for crisp output.
- HTML: locked canvases auto-inject a viewport-lock script that letterboxes at any window size.
