Keyboard Shortcuts

Every key DriftGrid listens for. Shortcuts only fire when no text field is focused.

`←` `→`	Move between concepts (columns)
`↑` `↓`	Move between versions within a concept
`Enter`	Enter frame view (zoom into the current card)
`Esc`	Back out — frame → grid → zoom out → home
`L`	Jump to the latest version of the current concept
`Space` (hold)	Pan the canvas with the mouse

Selection

Key	Action
`Shift + Arrow`	Extend multi-selection from the current card
`Shift + Click`	Add a card to the selection
`Cmd/Ctrl + Click`	Toggle a card in the selection
`Esc`	Clear multi-selection

Multi-selected cards show a blue outline. Cmd+C / Cmd+V and reorder actions apply to the whole selection.

Iteration

Key	Action
`D`	Drift up — create a new version of the current card
`Shift + D`	Drift right — start a new concept column
`C`	In frame view: toggle comment mode. In grid on an empty card: open the agent prompt
`Delete` / `Backspace`	Remove the current card (undoable with `Cmd+Z`)
`Cmd/Ctrl + Z`	Undo the last destructive action

Curation

Key	Action
`S`	Star / unstar the current card
`P`	Present starred versions fullscreen
`Cmd/Ctrl + Enter`	Enter Present mode from anywhere
`Cmd/Ctrl + C`	Copy current card (or multi-selection) to clipboard
`Cmd/Ctrl + V`	Paste clipboard as new version(s) in the current concept

Stars are a set — you can star any number of versions across any concepts. Paste works across rounds.

Reorder

Key	Action
`Alt/⌥ + ←` `Alt/⌥ + →`	Move card to the adjacent concept at the same row (or move the selected column)
`Alt/⌥ + ↑` `Alt/⌥ + ↓`	Move card up or down within its column

Click a column label to select the column itself — then Alt + ←/→ moves the whole column. Click the canvas to deselect.

The Share button lives top-right of the grid. One URL per round per project — republishing within a round reuses the URL. See Sharing & Review for the full flow.

View Modes

Key	Action
`G`	Toggle grid ↔ frame view
`H`	Hide overlay chrome (shortcuts bar, minimap). A small `?` pill remains to bring it back
`	Full overview — zoom out to fit all concepts
`1`	Zoom level 1 — see the full concept column
`2`	Zoom level 2 — roughly three cards visible
`3`	Zoom level 3 — current card prominent with neighbors
`4`	Zoom level 4 — single card fills the viewport
`?`	Show the shortcuts bar if hidden

Command Palette

Cmd/Ctrl + K opens a searchable palette for everything above plus round operations, share management, and project navigation. If you only remember one shortcut, remember this one.
